Master Thesis Competition & Prize

Call for applications to the BIODENTAL Master thesis competition 

 

 

Concept:
BIODENTAL conference hereby announce a Master Thesis prize. The prize is intended to bring forward stimulating and novel theoretical and empirical contributions from young scholars in the field of oral-facial biomechanics which might have the quality to influence future research. 

 

Selection:
The prize will be awarded to the best Master thesis submitted along with the guidelines mentioned below. The theses will be assessed by a panel of selected researchers in the field. 

 

Type of award:
The author of the best thesis will receive a free delegate registration in BIODENTAL conference and a certificate confirming the prize. The prize will be announced at the end of the first day of the conference.
 
Eligibility:
- Any Master student who has defended in his or her master thesis between 1 January 2020 and 18 Setember 2021.
- The thesis should touch upon the conference theme.
- The thesis should preferably be written in English. 
- Applicants should be registered in BIODENTAL conference.

- Applicants should preferably be able to attend and present their research findings at BIODENTAL, Porto, Portugal. 

 

Application:
Interested applicants are invited to send to biodental.conference@gmail.com the following documents:
- a cover-letter (application letter);
- a PDF copy of the thesis;
- A short statement from an applicant’s thesis supervisor is required.

 

Deadline:
Applications must be received no later than August 30, 2021.
